Soil Preparation:
- Mix 50% sphagnum peat moss 50% sand or perlite.
- Moisten the soil with distilled water before use.
Placing the Soil in the Terrarium:
- Add a layer of gravel at the bottom for drainage (optional).
- Then add the prepared soil on top to a suitable depth (5–10 cm).
Planting the Carnivorous Plants:
- Gently remove the plant from its original container.
- Plant it in the soil without pressing too hard on the roots.
- Keep the roots covered, but do not bury the base of the stem.
Watering:
- Water the plant regularly with distilled water.
- Keep the soil moist but not overly saturated.
Lighting:
- Place the terrarium in a spot with bright, indirect sunlight.
- Artificial lighting (LED or fluorescent) can also be used for 12–14 hours daily.
Feeding:
- Do not feed the plant manually too often (once every 2–4 weeks is enough).
- The plant can catch insects on its own if they are present.
Ventilation:
- Partially open the terrarium or use lids with small holes to prevent mold growth.
⚠️
Important Tips:
- Do not use regular potting soil or fertilizers.
- Do not water with tap water (as it contains harmful minerals).
- Avoid touching the plant’s traps too often, as they can weaken and die.
