Its green leaves make it a great hedge partner. grows well and, with its varied leaf color, gives a fenced area a change of pace. Flowers and fruit are often found on the plant simultaneously and make an attractive show. The plant has thorn and the yellow berries are poisons if indigested. This shrub does best in well-drained average soil and full to partial sun. Plant golden dewdrop singly as a specimen plant or massed as a screen.
