Orange Plant - Citrus Kumquat

The Kumquat is a small citrus tree that produces bright orange, oval-shaped fruits with a tangy-sweet flavor. Unlike most citrus fruits, the thin, edible peel is sweet, while the flesh is tart, making it a unique treat. The tree is compact and evergreen, making it an excellent choice for containers, patios, or small gardens. Its fragrant blossoms and ornamental fruit add beauty to any setting.

Care Instructions:

Indoor Care:

• Light: Place in a sunny location with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
• Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Reduce watering in winter.
• Temperature: Prefers 15–25°C (59–77°F); avoid cold drafts or extreme heat.
• Container: Use a pot with good drainage, filled with citrus-specific or well-draining soil.

Outdoor Care:

• Light: Thrives in full sun; place in a sunny, sheltered spot.
• Watering: Water deeply once or twice a week, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
• Soil: Prefers fertile, well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH.
• Temperature: Hardy to light frost but should be protected during freezing temperatures.
