Lighting:
Needs bright, indirect light. It can tolerate slightly lower light levels, but for optimal growth, provide bright filtered light, such as from an east- or west-facing window.
Temperature:
Prefers warm temperatures between 20–28°C (68–82°F). Avoid temperatures below 15°C (59°F), and try to maintain a stable environment away from drafts or strong ventilation.
Watering:
Keep the soil moist but not soggy. Allow the top layer of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. In winter, reduce the amount of water as the plant’s growth slows.
Humidity:
Requires high humidity. You can increase humidity using a humidifier or by placing the plant on a tray filled with pebbles and water.
Fertilizing:
Use a balanced, diluted fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the active growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilizing in winter when growth is minimal.
Soil:
Use a well-draining soil mix, such as a blend of regular potting soil with perlite or charcoal. Avoid heavy soils that retain excess moisture.
Air Circulation:
Ensure good airflow around the plant to help prevent mold, rot, and other diseases.
Cleaning:
Wipe the leaves regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust. This supports plant health and improves the efficiency of photosynthesis.
