Cifo Cicatrin Plant Sealant 250g

Cicatrin Plus is a ready-to-use healing mastic ideal for protecting pruning cuts, grafts or accidental injuries of various kinds. It creates a barrier that protects vital tissues and, thanks to the presence of copper, helps prevent the formation of mold or wood diseases and promotes the rapid formation of a healing callus to close the wound (pruning, grafting or injury).

Use during pruning, grafting or after the plant has suffered damage to the trunk or branches due to environmental or mechanical causes.

Pruning/Wounds : clean the pruning cuts or damaged parts of the plant and spread a layer of Cicatrin Plus, at least 2 – 3 mm, taking care to also cover the edges of the branch well.

Grafting : carry out the grafting operations, make a solid ligation, carefully apply Cicatrin Plus directly onto the graft incision.
