Agave attenuata is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, commonly known as the foxtail or lion's tail. The name swan's neck agave refers to its development of a curved inflorescence, unusual among agaves.
Care
Easily grown in slightly acidic, sandy or gravelly, moist or dry, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates part shade. Keep it in a frost-free area in winter and put it out on the patio or balcony in summer. Drought tolerant, this agave does not do well in the desert heat.
