Agave filifera, the thread agave, is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native to Central Mexico from Querétaro to Mexico State. It is a small or medium-sized succulent plant that forms a stemless rosette up to 3 feet (91 cm) across and up to 2 feet (61 cm) tall.
Care
Agave plants love going outside in warm weather. When agave plants are resting in the fall and winter, allow the top 75% of the soil to dry out before watering. In the spring & summer, when the plant is actively growing, water when the top 2"-3” of soil has dried out.
